How It Was Made
In the making of this wine, selectivity to create boldness was key. Only six vines from the whole property were selected to hand-pick. February 2018 had temperatures of high 20’s, and cool nights, resulting in perfect ripening conditions and robust intense berries. Two one-year old French Oak barrels were carefully selected to create the balance between fruit flavour and complexity, oak. The wine was aged for 18-months and hand-bottled.

An intense forest fruit and blueberry aroma from an intense deep inky purple colour immediately show the seriousness of this wine. A rich and bold palate continues with violet, blackberry, and cracked black pepper with vanilla notes and bold tannins working in perfect harmony with the fruit.
