2012 Tasmania Pinot Noir
There are only a few regions in Australia which are able to produce premium Pinot Noir, Tasmania is one of them. The climate and production is similar to those of the famous European wines.
A warm summer in 2012 with little rain were the perfect conditions for the vineyard. This allowed for the production of an elegant and but perfectly structured wine.
Fresh ripe cherries and raspberries are the stand out characters of this wine finishing with subtle tannins and undertones of pepper and berry spices.
